What Happens Next
- Notices are reviewed as soon as reasonably possible.
- If the notice is complete and valid, the referenced material may be removed or disabled.
- Where appropriate, the uploader or relevant party may be notified and given an opportunity to respond.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the same email address. Counter-notifications should include:
- Your contact information (name, email, and mailing address).
- The URL(s) of the material removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or an appropriate jurisdiction if outside the United States), and agreement to accept service of process from the complainant.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
